Across many markets, financial institutions want to support farmers but often operate with high risk due to limited visibility into farm conditions, climate risks, and real agricultural activity. Hekitari helps organizations understand, assess, and monitor farms with greater confidence.

Agriculture is essential to economies, yet financing farmers remains one of the most difficult forms of lending. Institutions often face significant barriers to scale.
Without reliable insights, supporting farmers becomes difficult to scale.
Most farms lack digital records, making it difficult to verify historical performance.
Physical field visits are expensive and difficult to scale across large portfolios.
Unpredictable weather patterns create systemic risks that are difficult to quantify.
Verifying agricultural activity remains difficult without reliable monitoring tools.
Advances in satellite imagery, climate analytics, and digital farm tools are transforming how agriculture can be understood. Farms can now be assessed before financing, monitored throughout the season, and analyzed to understand production outcomes.
These insights help organizations make more informed agricultural decisions.
Each product stands on its own, and together they form a single intelligence layer running from the smallholder plot to the bank's lending desk.
Satellite field monitoring, weather intelligence, AI disease detection, and an expert farming assistant, in Kinyarwanda, built for entry-level Android and low connectivity.

A complete digital tool for cattle, swine, and poultry: from individual animal records and breeding cycles to feed costs, health, and one-click reports for banks and cooperatives.
Lending to agriculture has always been hard because the risk is invisible. Hekitari makes it visible: turning satellite imagery, soil data, weather and topography into an agro-climatic score financial institutions can lend on.

InvestWise reads the precise conditions of any location and answers the three questions every decision-maker needs, down to the village level.
Near real-time remote sensing fused with soil samples, processed through an XGBoost model for village-level suitability.

Request access right here on the website: the “Get Smart Farm Manager” and “Get Hekitari Livestock Management” buttons in the Solutions section open a short form. For the Livestock Management System you can also download the app first from the App Store or Google Play and send your request from inside the app. Either way, our team sets up your account to fit your operation and reaches out with your credentials in under 12 hours.
Smart Farm Manager
Livestock Management System
There is no fixed public price list. What you pay depends on the size and type of your operation. A single smallholder plot, a commercial farm, a cooperative with hundreds of member farms, and a bank running credit models are very different setups. Tell us about your operation at info@hekitari.com or through the request form and we will come back with a package and a tailored demo.
Both apps are built for entry-level Android phones and low connectivity, which is what most farmers in the region actually carry, and they are available on iPhone too. Smart Farm Manager works in Kinyarwanda as well as English, so a farmer does not need to read English to use it. Heavier work like satellite maps, org-level dashboards and reports can also be done from a laptop browser.
Smallholder and commercial farmers, cooperatives, institutions and research programmes, and financial players: banks, microfinance institutions and insurers using our agricultural risk scoring and credit models. Cooperatives and organisations get role-based access, so each member manages their own fields or animals while an administrator sees the overview across all member farms. We are based in Kigali, Rwanda and work with partners across Africa.
Your records stay yours. Inside a cooperative or organisation, access is role-based: members see their own animals and fields, and only an administrator sees the org-level overview. Reports reach a bank or cooperative when you generate and share them. Each app publishes its full privacy policy, linked in the footer of this page.
